Principal's Message
As Principal of St. Lawrence Catholic Elementary School, it is a pleasure to welcome all staff, students, and their families to our vibrant and faith-filled community. I am so pleased to be a part of this community and look forward to the journey ahead as we work together to nurture the hearts and minds of our students.
The mission of Catholic Education in Hamilton-Wentworth, in union with our Bishop, is to “enable all learners to realize the fullness of humanity in which our Lord Jesus Christ is the model.” This mission guides our daily work and inspires us to create a learning environment rooted in Gospel values, academic excellence, and compassionate service.
We are blessed to be in close proximity to St. Lawrence Parish, where Father Peter and Mr. Jolie provide strong spiritual leadership and support. Our parish-school partnership is a cornerstone of our faith development and sacramental preparation. I look forward to deepening this relationship and working closely with our parish team and Catholic School Council to strengthen the home-school-parish connection.
Together with our dedicated educators and support staff, we aim to foster a culture of respect, inclusion, and high expectations. Our goal is to help each student grow in faith, knowledge, and character, guided by the Catholic Graduate Expectations. We are committed to providing rich learning experiences that support the development of the whole child—spiritually, intellectually, emotionally, and socially.
