Road Closures Affecting School Access

Dear Parents and Guardians,

We want to inform you about upcoming road closures in connection with the 110th Grey Cup Festival in the City of Hamilton, taking place from Thursday, November 16th to Saturday, November 18th, 2023. These closures may impact traffic around St. Lawrence Catholic Elementary School, Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Elementary School, and Cathedral High School. Please plan your routes accordingly to ensure minimal disruption.

Street closures will run: Wednesday, Nov 15th from 12:01 a.m.

James Street North from Wilson/York to Cannon (Wilson/York and Cannon Street open)

Cannon to Barton (Barton Street Open)

Additional closures on Vine, Mulberry, Colbourne, and Murray Streets

Closure Duration: Until 5:00 am on Sunday, November 19th.
